Longbridge Cycling Club was set up to create an environment that gives riders the biggest opportunities for the best cycling adventures. Our 'Pace not race' motto clearly suggests that we are not interested in competing against each other, our hope is that we all make it.

Road bike, Mountain bike, hybrid or electric bike, all are welcome.

From the first turn of the pedals on a Longbridge Cycling Club ride, you will know if we are the club for you. Whether a beginner or seasoned cyclist, you are invited to share the laughs, the enthusiasm and the unpredictability of an unlikely bunch of folk, all striving for a common goal.

It is important to yourself and our current members, that everyone understands, that we do not welcome heroes or egos, there are plenty of other lovely clubs locally whom offer exciting, faster paced rides, should you wish for more of a challenge, desire to improve your Strava times, or aspire to gain ground over fellow cyclists.

Longbridge Cycling Club provides an opportunity for riders from South Birmingham, Worcestershire and Warwickshire to get together midweek and at weekends, for some fantastic social cycling. The following shows an example of whats on offer...

Tuesdays...Rides of  25-45 miles round trip at an overall average of  9-11mph. Meet outside Sainsburys, Longbridge. Alternative meet points also available, depending on direction of travel, usually, Waseleys, Belbroughton, Morrisons at Bromsgrove, or Tardibigge. Alternatively, Hopwood or Bransons Cross on the Warwickshire side. Start time generally 9.30 am, or later for alternative pick ups, see our Facebook Page, email debweston@aol.com or phone or text Deb on 07738982161 for weekly ride updates . A coffee or lunch stop always included.

Weekends...Either a Saturday or Sunday, with rides of varying distances. A 9-11mph average speed and as always a stop for coffee/lunch. Meet outside Sainsburys, Longbridge at 9.30am, other meeting points also available, depending on direction of travel, usually, Waseleys, Belbroughton, Morrisons at Bromsgrove, or Tardibigge. Alternatively, Hopwood or Branson's Cross on the Warwickshire side .
